And finally, here are some photos of the unveiling and finished product. We had a fantastic turnout, and I was humbled to see how many of the area's farm families showed up and that it seemed to mean as much to them as it did to my family and me. And it should, because it is their heritage too. The photos in this section were generously donated by Bill Sanders of the Laytn Heritage Museum, and Jon Gerber. |

Getting Ready Here are two photos of the exhibit which we had a the Layton Heritage Museum. They were quite wonderful to host us and went out of their way to publicize the event. There are a few photos of the crew gathering and the farmhouse which has undergone an extensive renovation during these last few months as well. |

The final chapter Here are the murals as they stood the evening of October 12, 2007.What a huge blessing this has been in my life, and I hope in the lives of others. If you're ever driving West down Gentile Street in Layton, stop in and take a moment to look around. I think you'll be glad you did. And while you look both at the barn and what surrounds it, remember those who have gone before and given their lives in devotion to the land, love of family, and faith in God. |
