This section is a brief look at the exhibit which we had at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT over the summer. The murals were housed in the Harold B. Lee Library Atrium, and were exhibited from May until September, 2007.

I was really nervous about getting them down there, but the moving company did fantastic, and we had some incredible volunteers who helped get them there and back again. It was a great venue for the murals, and we had a wonderful response from the University and community. A week before taking them down, I did some final measuring and found that the keystone piece of the framework wasn't going to fit into the front doors of the library! A little last minute engineering and a circular saw took care of the problem, though, and the world was safe once again. (see photo #2 below)

One other benefit of the time at BYU was that it gave the paint time to cure fully before the varnish was put on prior to installation. Most of these photos were generously taken and given for use on the site by Roger Layton of the BYU-HBLL. Thank you so very much to all those at BYU who made this choice experience possible.

And regarding the photos, they pretty much tell the story themselves. Yes, that is my cousin who modeled for the main character (and cut her hair shortly thereafter); and no, that's not my son, it is my nephew who came with a lot of other great folks to the exhibit opening. The pie was fantastic!
