The Barn Project is a mural.

Well, two large murals actually. And they are painted on panels which will are mounted and fastened to a barn in West Layton, Utah.

This is technically my Graduate Thesis project for the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. The entire project was in the works for over three years, and was officially completed and mounted on the barn structure in the Fall of 2007.

So, here's the WHY: Generations of our family and countless others have worked the land in this valley, and there is such a great need to pay homage to their faith and diligence. They never became wealthy, but they have left us a heritage of hard work and trust in God that is worth more than any posession. I seek to honor that.

There is so much to share regarding the project, which is why I have created six special sections (below) so that those interested can gain an idea of the project's scope. If you have comments or questions, please contact Hollis Fine Art.
